Cars

Chevy

I already posted on the Corvette and so I won’t waste your time talking about it here. Instead, I am going to focus on the Chevy Volt. This car looks really nice. Unlike the Tesla I really do believe that this car could be a solution to the gas problem. This car has the looks and the stats that a car needs to be used by the average person. I’m very impressed by Chevy. Usually, they make average cars that aren’t anything special but this time it’s different. This car is really remarkable. I really have nothing more to say other than that this car is wonderful and could be a solution to carbon emissions, theoretically. It would really only work though if they first fix the problem of creating electricity. If they burn coal to make electricity, then this is really just another way of running around the problem. If we can find a clean way to make energy then this could be a good idea. If we can’t it’s a waste of time.
I don’t hate the idea of the Chevy Tahoe Hybrid, but the same problem is present. What would the impact of this car be? Nothing, unless millions of people were to use it. At that point we run into another problem. Now we need a source of pure fuel, that does not pollute, and is abundant. This limits the possibilities of hybrids. When it comes to cars, I’m lost on this subject. It will take a HUGE revolution to get rid of our independence on gas and oil. I think that this is just another baby step towards the goal of alternative fuels.
Here’s a good website:
